We don't seem to be able to go a day without hearing about the dire
situation of our environment. Whether it's the massive amounts of
plastic in the water or the Covid trash strangling birds.
Then you decide to make a change, but there is far too much transition
to be made in order to lessen your waste, which is daunting! Right?
Where do I even start?
Relax and take it easy! Take a big breath and make a strategy.
Here are our top five suggestions for getting started:
1. Refuse to use plastic straw And Use One THAT CAN BE REUSED.
2. Purchase a REUSABLE BOTTLE and remember to fill it up and take
it with you when you leave the house.
3. Purchase a few REUSABLE BAGS and store them somewhere
accessible, such as in your car and in your shoulder bag.
4. Switching from disposable to reusable diapers is the most
cost-effective and environmentally friendly option.
5. Simply begin to REFUSE more plastic in your life and REUSE
what you already have.
“Sustainable development is the masterful balance of meeting our own needs without jeopardizing the future generations’ ability to do the same.”
“We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. We need
millions of people doing it imperfectly”
-Anne Marie
Bonneau
We understand that things are difficult right now, but the environment
need our help now more than ever. Despite the obstacles that the
pandemic has posed around the world, we still have a chance to reach out
and assist others in reducing plastic pollution.
Any changes make a difference, so make the commitment that's right for
you.
